Acedemia Visit- Romantic Age

On 28th August'25 The Department of English, MKBU organised an Activity regarding the Romantic Age at Bortalav Lake and Scenic Spot as a part of creative activity where we got certain activites to do like-

1. Photography

2. Poetry Writing and Recitation

3. Drawing and Sketch

4. Music

5. Ikigai Activity

From these all I wrote a poem and recited it regarding Romantic Age and also clicked a few pictures as well.

The Poetry is as follows-

Laughter in the Stillness

Amid the hush of trees and fluttering wings, the meadow hums with children’s choo-choo cheer,

the tiny rhythms stitching the ground’s stillness alive in joy.

In this still air,

butterflies paint their silence

and the birds answer with a melancholy hymn,

pigeons flying high in the presence of the great divine!

The old temple breathes,

elders resting and procrastinating in silence,

some even bending and bowing to the divine for peace.

By the lakeside I sit, gathering it all in my gaze.

To my right, the lake breathes,

alive it resettles, sparkling with whispers of the sky.

To my right, a stranded boat sleeps,

its silence wrapped in lush green grass,

forgotten, yet wearing a quiet beauty that time itself even if it tries cannot erase.

Here I am sitting still in silence observing it all, silently procrastinating.
